RGT Rating
The Klean SV is an "Industrial Sophisticate." Where the original Klean was a solid budget contender, the Silver Version (SV) moves toward a more mature, modular experience. It swaps the resin-and-glue feel for a mechanically fastened metal shell that feels like it belongs in a higher price bracket.
Imaging and Soundstage: 4/5
Thanks to the dual-cavity design, the stage feels airy and remarkably well-organized for a single dynamic driver. It’s wider than the Belle and more "accurate" in its placement than the Cadenza II. In competitive gaming, the "Silver" nozzle provides a very clean sense of distance, making it easy to judge exactly how far away a threat i
Sound Signature: Neutral-Bright / Customizable
Out of the box, it leans toward a clean, analytical sound that prioritizes detail over raw warmth
Bass: Very fast and disciplined. It’s not "bass-head" level, but it has excellent texture. If you want more impact, the Black nozzle adds a noticeable "thump" without muddying the mids.
Mids: Exceptionally clear. Vocals are positioned neutrally—neither too recessed nor too forward. It’s a very "honest" midrange that excels with acoustic and live recordings.
Treble: Crisp and extended. The DLC driver provides a lot of "air." Using the Gold nozzle can make it quite sparkly (approaching "spicy" for the sensitive), but the Black nozzle smooths it out for long, fatigue-free sessions.
Comfort: 4/5
At 10g per side, these have some heft, but the ergonomic contouring is excellent. The low-profile design sits flush against the ear, making them stable even when moving around. The inclusion of three nozzle sets means you can effectively change the "fit" and length of the ear tip insertion.
Versatility: 5/5
This is its biggest strength. Because you can physically change the tuning from "Warm/Smooth" to "Bright/Analytical," it’s hard to find a genre it can't handle
Potential Drawbacks:
The industrial look (visible screws and seam lines) might not appeal to those who prefer the seamless "jewelry" look of resin IEMs. Also, while it is easy to drive, it scales significantly with a good DAC—on cheap phone dongles, the treble can occasionally feel a bit thin.
