Why Glossy grip tape

The choice of a glossy surface for mouse grip is sometime favored by users because of its unique interaction with the skin, which often results in a slicker, sticky and more locked-in hold compared to matte finishes. For those with dry or cool hands, a glossy mouse provides a critical tacky, adhesive feeling that prevents the mouse from feeling slick or loose, eliminating the constant need for regripping. But, a slight amount of natural skin oil or light sweat will ruin this tackiness and excessive moisture can make glossy surfaces slippery.

How to apply mouse grip film

For the best results, follow these steps when applying grip tape:

Clean the mouse: Thoroughly wipe the mouse surface with a microfiber cloth and rubbing alcohol to remove any oils or dirt.

Remove the tape: Peel off one of the pre-cut pieces of grip tape from its backing.

Align and press: Carefully align the tape with the appropriate section of your mouse. Apply firm, even pressure to ensure a smooth, secure application.

Repeat: Continue with the remaining pieces until your mouse is fully covered.
